The soundtrack to summer 2005 is WalkerMan’s fusion of reggae, pop, and chilled grooves, which comes in the form of their debut release ‘Listen To Mama’. The tune is inspired by all the times your mother warned you to keep away from troublesome ladies, but you never did.
The duo behind WalkerMan is jam-packed with talent, and has already worked with many of
the top names in the music industry. The face of the pair is a model, dancer and singer and
has worked for the likes of Nike, Converse and Ellesse performing in fashion shows and
showing off his dancing skills.
The producer behind the group, has worked on tracks with many top names in the urban music scene such as; Warren G, Redman, Jimmy Cliff,
Ashanti, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Blue, Lil Kim and Lauren Hill. All this experience has
helped set the guys in good stead for their storm on the charts.
The video for ‘Listen To Mama’ is a cartoon of the WalkerMan guys, who take on the form of
two crows, getting into trouble on a night out when they meet some beautiful ladies who drive
them wild and spend their crash. Featured in the video are the sexiest damn crows you’ll ever
see, donned in hot pants and skimpy dresses. Set in Jamaica, the video will leave you
yearning for a beach! Reminiscent of Shaggy, or even Aswad, this is a summer tune you’ll
find it hard to resist.
WalkerMan have also had their tracks picked up by Gizmondo Games Consoles, and some of
the tracks will be featured on their games.
